Developmental Process:

Intro: At midterm Renne presented us with the idea for a project that would implement all of our creative skills we have been learning in this course. With these skills we were set to task on developing an Infographic Storybook for Students and Prospective Students of Peninsula College. Let the creation begin!

Problem: How were twelve people with basic skills in infographic design and little experience working with each other as a team to set about creating something fun and dynamic for Orienting New Students to the college experience?

Solution: Communication was the Key to our success with this project. Communicating with each other and our instructor who guided us each step of the way through our struggles and frustrations. With that important skill we set our using our other Key to success, Creativity. Each and every person in this class possesses the creativity to come up with something excellent for their chosen step. Even though this project is not complete and will carry on into the next course, I believe that we have laid the ground work for something seriously exciting to move ahead!

*I do hope I can continue to help on this project. I would be very excited to see how it turns out and how I could contribute to the creation of the print version that will at one point be available. I think this is a wonderful idea and I also believe that using the skills of the graphic design students in the graphics program in the development of designs for the college is a win-win situation where the student can be placed in a mock work environment. All in all this has been an excellent learning experience.
